Fourth of JulyWe went to the Fourth of July Parade in Norwalk with Grandpa & Grandma Mahr and Aunt Betty & Uncle John Sestak who were visiting from Hawaii. The girls had fun and got lots of candy.

Swimming Lessons
Both of the girls took swimming lessons this year. It was Laurel's 3rd year and you can tell she gets more adventurous each year. It was a little more rough for Norah who took her first year of lessons. She cried most days and did NOT like to put her head under water. "Just want to float" was her mantra for the week. She did blow bubbles and put her face in by the end. She will jump off the edge with help. She has become more brave as the summer progressed with lots of boating trips.

Laurel Jumping right in
Gatorade StandLaurel and her friend Olivia who lives next door decided to have a Gatorade (we were out of lemonade) stand one day this summer. We live on a cul de sac, so business wasn't booming by any means. The girls finally went door to door and I think our neighbor boys Luke & Jake were the only takers, and actually joined in "working" at the busy Gatorade stand.
