Last Friday I had the opportunity to hear my favorite pharmacy professor and former colleague, Lon Larson, speak at Drake. He has always been a great speaker, but the topics were usually pharmacy related. Friday, the topic was life and it was a very moving talk about his battle with cancer and how he has decided to approach it. Such a wise man, far beyond pharmacy. It was great to talk to Lon and Linda, even though there are never the right words to say at a time like this. Carter came along and slept through the entire speech.
